The Book Of Genesis

Let’s do Bible Study together! Iron sharpens Iron.  -Proverbs 27:17 KJV

I had a friend that I would do weekly Bible studies with. He challenged me to go in Chronological order. He also challenged me to spend each week reading one Book over and over. Moving on to the next book every week.

NOTE: My friend wrote a book called “How To Read the Bible”, get it here.

That might look like you listening to the Bible during the day, on the way to work, while getting ready and when you’re doing dedicated/undistracted Bible study time. I know this might sound like a lot (especially with the bigger Books), but it’s actually kind of easy.

What I found out by doing this was, I began to retain the Word.  I could answer people’s questions with the Word, I could reference stories and scriptures in the Bible when someone needed advice about a particular situation. I even noticed a shift in my dreams, as I would sometimes quote the Word while in the spirit realm (dream world).

I challenge you (and myself) to read and study the Book of Genesis over and over for one week. Before moving on to the Book of Exodus.

If you don’t have that kind of time then take two weeks to read Genesis over and over.

Grab your notebook here for note taking and revelations God has given you while you’re reading.
